This book teaches Altered chords, chord progressions, slow jazz chording and preaching chords. Don't need to be able to read music to use this book. Prior knowledge of basic chords helpful. Also helpful to know basic I, IV, V chord progression. Techniques are taught in the Key of C and you will need to transpose them to other keys. The DVD that comes with this book is excellent.
